Infrared Remote Control Instructions

  1. Power Button

Press this button to put the camera into standby mode (power off). Press it again to have the camera perform a self-test and return to its initial position. (Note: If the power-on mode is enabled and preset position 0 is configured, the camera will automatically point to that designated preset position.)

  1. Camera Selection Buttons

Use the CAMERA SELECT buttons (1/2/3/4) to choose the camera address to control.

Camera ID selection via IR remote:

[*] + [#] + [F1]: Camera Address 1

  1. Preset Position Buttons

Adjust the camera to the desired position, then press the SET PRESET button followed by a number key (0-9) to save the setting. When the camera is not at the designated preset position, pressing the corresponding number key will cause the camera to automatically rotate to that position.

Note: The remote control only supports setting presets 0-9; presets beyond number 9 are typically configured via the serial port. It is recommended to keep preset assignments within the 0-9 range.

  1. Focus Control Buttons

Auto Focus: Press the AUTO button to enter auto-focus mode.

Manual Focus: Press the MANUAL button to enter manual focus mode, then use the FOCUS [+] and [-] buttons to adjust the focus manually.

  1. ZOOM Buttons: Image Zoom In/Out

[+] Button: Zoom in; [-] Button: Zoom out.

  1. Clear Preset Position Button

Press the CLEAR PRESET button followed by a number key (0-9) to delete the corresponding preset position.

  1. PTZ Direction Control Buttons: Press [∧] for Up, [∨] for Down, [<] for Left, [>] for Right, and [HOME] to return to the default initial position.
  2. BLC On/Off Button: Backlight Compensation On/Off
  3. Menu Key: In the camera view, briefly press the MENU key to enter the menu interface; press it briefly again to exit. Use the PTZ directional control keys to adjust settings. The HOME key functions as the "Enter" key (to access sub-menus), while the MENU key functions as both the "Back" and "Confirm" key.

Exposure Settings

In the camera parameter menu, move the cursor to <Exposure> and press the [HOME] key to enter the exposure page.

Exposure Mode: Options include Auto, Manual, Shutter Priority, and Aperture Priority.

Compensation Level: Adjustable range: -7 to 7.

Backlight Compensation: Options: On/Off.

Anti-flicker: Options: Off, 50Hz, 60Hz.

Gain Limit: Default value: 8.

Wide Dynamic Range (WDR): Default value: 20.

Smart Exposure: Options: On/Off.

Exposure Area: Options: All, Center, Bottom, Top.

Focus Settings

In the camera parameter menu, move the cursor to <Focus> and press the [HOME] key to enter the focus page.

Focus Mode: Settings: Auto/Manual

Focus Area: Settings: Top, Center, Bottom, All

Focus Sensitivity: Settings: Low, Medium, High

Near Focus Limit: Settings: 10cm, 30cm, 50cm, 75cm, 1m

Far Focus Limit: Settings: 21m, 60m, 100m, 180m, INF

Lens Distortion Correction: Settings: On/Off

Smart Focus: Settings: On/Off

Noise Reduction Settings 

Move the cursor to <Noise Reduction> in the camera parameter menu and press the [HOME] key to enter the Noise Reduction page.

2D Noise Reduction: Off, 1–5

3D Noise Reduction: Off, 1–8

Defog: Off, Auto, Manual

Dynamic Bad Pixel Correction: 50

PTZ Settings

Move the cursor to <PTZ> in the main menu and press the [HOME] key to enter the PTZ page.

Depth-of-Field Scaling (Remote): Applies only to remote control; On (rotation speed slows down as the camera zooms in) / Off

Remote Control Rotation Speed: Set remote control rotation speed (1–16)

Protocol Depth-of-Field Scaling: Applies only to protocol control (RS232/RS422); On (rotation speed slows down as the camera zooms in) / Off

Protocol Speed: When Protocol Depth-of-Field Scaling is On, PTZ speed under protocol control operates based on the Protocol Speed ​​value.

Zoom Speed: Camera zooming speed

PTZ Pan Direction: On/Off. When set to 'On', the pan direction is reversed for protocol control.

Preset Image Freeze: ON/OFF. When set to 'On', the image freezes at the current preset position until the PTZ moves to and displays the next preset position.

Preset Manual Focus: ON/OFF.
