From versatile Bluetooth-style hearing aids to personalized hearing support with smart features, the Retekess journey has always been shaped by real user needs.
Finding the right hearing aid is about more than making sounds louder. Comfort, sound quality, ease of use, battery life, and the ability to enjoy everyday activities all matter.
At Retekess, the development of our hearing aids has been an ongoing journey of listening, learning, and improving. Every customer experience has helped us better understand what hearing aid users value most, from a comfortable fit to clearer TV audio and more personalized sound settings.
Over time, we have explored different wearing styles, refined sound processing, and introduced features designed to make daily listening easier.
Here is how six Retekess hearing aid models reflect that journey.

Our journey began with the TE101, a Bluetooth earbud-style hearing aid designed for people with mild hearing loss.
Its familiar earbud-style design and versatile features made it an appealing choice for users looking for a multifunctional hearing solution. For some customers, TE101 became more than just another hearing aid.
Several users told us that it was the best hearing aid they had purchased in years, appreciating its broad range of functions and versatility. Some of these customers returned to explore other Retekess products, becoming repeat customers and reinforcing our confidence in the value of listening to user feedback.
However, we also learned that a design that works well for one person may not suit everyone.
Because TE101 uses an earbud-style form factor, some users with smaller ear canals experienced a plugged-up sensation, sometimes known as the occlusion effect. This experience highlighted an important lesson: a hearing aid needs to offer useful features while also accommodating different ear shapes and wearing preferences.
TE101 gave us a valuable starting point. Its positive reviews showed us what customers appreciated, while its fit-related feedback encouraged us to keep exploring alternative designs.
What we learned: Versatile features matter, but comfort and individual fit are equally important.

Building on our experience with TE101, we introduced the TE201 RIC-style hearing aid, taking a different approach to wearing comfort and everyday listening.
RIC, or Receiver-in-Canal, hearing aids place the receiver inside the ear canal while keeping much of the main device behind the ear. This design offers an alternative to an earbud-style form factor and allows users to explore a different wearing experience.
We also paid closer attention to one common everyday challenge: watching television.
For some hearing aid users, adjusting their devices through a smartphone app can feel unnecessarily complicated, especially when they simply want to sit down and enjoy a favorite program.
To make TV listening more convenient, TE201 introduced a dedicated movie mode. Users could select the appropriate listening mode directly rather than needing to download an app and manually adjust sound settings to suit television audio.
The goal was straightforward: reduce setup complexity and make everyday listening more accessible.
What we learned: Better hearing support is not just about sound performance. Simple controls and convenient listening modes can make a meaningful difference in everyday life.

As we continued learning from customer needs, we expanded our product development into the behind-the-ear (BTE) design with the TE202.
Maintaining a strong output capability remained an important consideration. We also explored ways to improve the listening experience through more advanced digital sound processing.
TE202 brought together several enhancements:
Four noise-reduction algorithms designed to help manage different unwanted sounds.
A tinnitus sound-therapy mode for users seeking additional sound-based support for tinnitus management.
Digital chip-based sound processing to improve the overall listening experience.
Extended battery life to support longer periods of everyday use.
These features reflected a broader approach to hearing assistance. Simply increasing volume is not always enough; users may also need help managing distracting background sounds and finding a listening experience that feels more comfortable.
The addition of a tinnitus sound-therapy mode also recognized that some users have listening needs beyond hearing loss alone. Individual results vary, and users experiencing persistent tinnitus should seek appropriate professional advice.
What we learned: Output volume is only one part of hearing support. Sound processing, listening comfort, battery life, and additional listening needs all deserve attention.

With RIC and BTE options already in the lineup, we continued exploring another important preference: a more discreet hearing aid.
The result was the TE103 CIC hearing aid, designed for people with mild to moderate hearing loss.
CIC stands for Completely-in-Canal, describing a compact design intended to sit inside the ear canal. Its smaller form factor offers an alternative for users who prefer a less visible hearing aid.
Developing a compact device also meant paying close attention to comfort. We refined the product's size and ear-tip options to help accommodate different wearing preferences.
Yet we did not want a more discreet design to mean giving up everyday convenience.
Helping Users Enjoy TV Audio
TE103 supports smartphone-based hearing adjustments, but its multifunctional charging case offers another way to listen to television.
The case includes a sound-pickup function. When positioned near a television or another audio source, it can pick up the sound and transmit it to the hearing aids, helping users listen without relying solely on the television's built-in speakers.
This feature offers an alternative for people who want to enjoy TV programs without complicated setup.
Charging, Drying, and Longer Use
TE103 also retains a focus on extended battery life. Its multifunctional case combines charging with sound pickup and a drying function.
Because CIC hearing aids sit inside the ear canal, moisture and earwax management are important considerations. The drying function helps reduce moisture buildup in the device, supporting routine care and maintenance.
A comfortable fit, appropriate ear-tip selection, and regular cleaning remain important for ear health. The drying case supports hearing aid maintenance, but it does not replace ear hygiene or professional advice when irritation or other ear problems occur.
What we learned: A discreet hearing aid should do more than fit comfortably. Its accessories can also make listening, charging, and daily maintenance easier.

As our product range expanded, we also focused on people with moderate to severe hearing loss who may need greater amplification and more advanced sound customization.
The TE105 Smart RIC Bluetooth Hearing Aid represents this step in our development.
Positioned in a higher price tier, TE105 combines multiple features designed to give users more control over their listening experience. Customers have told us that its broad feature set makes the price worthwhile for the capabilities it offers.
Intelligent Speech Tracking and Noise Reduction

In everyday life, following a conversation can be challenging when other people are talking, traffic is passing, or wind interferes with the sound.
TE105 incorporates intelligent speech tracking to help focus on human voices and reduce the impact of surrounding noise.
Together, these features give users more options for adapting their listening experience to different situations.
Personalized Fitting Through the App
TE105 goes beyond basic volume control with app-based hearing customization.
Users can take a hearing test, adjust their settings, or enter an existing audiogram to help personalize their hearing profile. The app also supports independent left- and right-ear adjustments, recognizing that hearing needs may differ between ears.
Four adjustment bands allow users to fine-tune noise suppression, human-voice enhancement, impact-noise suppression, and wind-noise suppression.
Designed for Everyday Life
TE105 brings together several additional features:
IP68 water and dust resistance
Bluetooth connectivity
Tinnitus masking mode
Multiple sound adjustments
Rather than focusing on a single headline feature, TE105 brings multiple listening and customization tools into one device.

Our sixth development milestone returned to a familiar challenge: helping people enjoy television without making listening more complicated.
The TE102 RIC hearing aid with a dedicated TV connector builds on the convenience of the TE102 platform while offering a more direct solution for TV listening.
Instead of relying only on adjustments made through a smartphone, users can pair the compatible TV companion setup with their hearing aids to receive television audio through the dedicated connection system.
The TV connector uses Auracast™ broadcast audio technology based on Bluetooth® LE Audio. It is designed to transmit TV audio to compatible Auracast-enabled hearing aids and headphones.
Importantly, this is not the same as ordinary Bluetooth audio pairing. The receiving device must support Auracast audio reception; standard Bluetooth compatibility alone does not guarantee that it will work.
More Control Through the Charging Case

The TE102 charging case also brings together several practical features:

A digital display for checking hearing aids information.
UV-C sanitizing functionality designed to support routine device care.
Button-based adjustments that allow users to control supported hearing aid settings directly through the case.
Multiple volume levels to help users adjust amplification according to their needs.
The model is designed to accommodate a range of hearing needs, from mild to more significant hearing loss, depending on individual hearing requirements and the device's fitting capabilities.
By combining a dedicated TV audio solution with convenient case-based controls, TE102 aims to reduce the number of steps between turning on the television and enjoying a program.
What we learned: Technology is most useful when it solves a real problem in a way that feels simple. For many users, making TV listening easier can be just as valuable as adding more sound settings.
Six Models, One Continuing Journey
Looking back at the development of Retekess hearing aids, we see more than six product models. We see a continuing effort to understand different users, different wearing preferences, and different everyday listening challenges.
TE101: Versatile features in an earbud-style design
TE201: RIC design and simpler TV listening controls
TE202: BTE design, four noise-reduction algorithms, tinnitus sound therapy, and longer battery life
TE103: Discreet CIC design, sound pickup, charging, and drying
TE105: Advanced RIC hearing support, intelligent speech tracking, and IP68 waterproof
TE102 with TV connector: Auracast TV audio, case-based controls, and added device-care features
Each model reflects a different combination of priorities. Some users value discreetness; others prioritize stronger amplification, easier TV listening, longer battery life, or personalized sound adjustments.
There is no single hearing aid that is ideal for everyone. Hearing needs, ear shape, dexterity, listening environments, and personal preferences all influence which design may be appropriate.
That is why our journey continues.
