What are the best frequencies for an FM transmitter?

The FM broadcast band, used for FM broadcast radio by radio stations, differs between different parts of the world.

In Europe, Australia and Africa , it spans from 87.5 to 108 megahertz (MHz) - also known as VHF Band II - while in the

Americas it ranges from 88 to 108 MHz. The FM broadcast band in Japan uses 76 to 95 MHz. The International Radio and

Television Organisation band in Eastern Europe is from 65.8 to 74.0 MHz, although these countries now primarily

use the 87.5 to 108 MHz band, as in the case of Russia. Some other countries have already discontinued the OIRT

band and have changed to the 87.5 to 108 MHz band.

If you want everyone to hear your broadcast, or at least as many people as possible, use the 88–108 MHz band,

that's where all the commercially made, personal radio receivers work and all the commercial broadcast radios work.

Based on the rule, we produced TR502 with the 87~108MHz frequency and TR505 with the 87.5~108 MHz.

Let's check the details of TR502/TR505

  • Frequency range: FM:87~108MHz      /  FM:87.5~108MHz

  • Frequency step: 100Khz                      / 100Khz

  • Frequency stability: ±10PPM              / ± 10PPM

  • Frequency stabilization method: PLL

  • Harmonics, noise radiation: ≤-50dB  / ≤65dB

  • Output impedance: 50Ω                      / 50Ω

  • RF output power: Max 15W (8-level adjustable)   / 0~25W

  • Pre-emphasis: 75us

  • Audio distortion: 0.3%                         / 0.3%

  • Bluetooth distance: about 5m

  • Frequency response: 50Hz~15000Hz  / 50Hz~15000Hz

  • Separation: ≥30dB                               / ≥35dB

  • Frequency modulation: ±75KHZ         / ± 75KHz

  • SNR: ≥60 dB                                        / 70 dB

  • Antenna connector type: TNC             / TNC

If you want to broadcast the church’s Easter service to cars in the parking lot, to avoiding people meet together, you can

check the Retekess TR502 OR TR505. TR502 works with the power 5/15w, and the TR505 power is from 0-20W.

The working range of TR502 is 2-3KM and TR505 is 3-4KM. We test them in the open real by ourselves.

Pls choose the type as you need.
